Liquid Pool Covers - Which One is Right for You?

Lately I have had quite a few questions about which of our products will work best for each type of pool. Since it has been such a hot topic, I thought I would take the opportunity to share some basic pointers about each of our products and who they appeal to.

Ecosavr:

Ecosavr™ is recommended exclusively for residential pools
One Ecosavr™ will cover a 400 sq. ft. pool, which is about 15,000 gallons of water, for approximately 25 - 30 days. Two Ecosavr™ are required for larger pools

Heatsavr:

Heatsavr™ is a great solution for both residential and commercial pools. It is available in a variety of volumes and application methods.

HS480:
- This is a once a week manual dosing option for the "do-it-yourselfer" pool owner. It is for residential pools only, and is a great alternative to the Ecosavr fish if, for any reason, you would like an alternative.
- The recommended weekly dosage rate is 4 oz of Heatsavr per 400 square feet of pool surface area, or approximately 15,000 gallons in volume.
HS140 & HS140R: Heatsavr Kits, including 4 - 35 oz bottles of Heatsavr and an Automatic Metering System
- The Heatsavr Kit is a great solution for both residential and commercial clients, and comes with enough liquid to last a 400 square foot pool for about 4.5 months
- This is a popular solution for larger in-ground pools or smaller commercial facilities
- Since an automatic metering system is taking care of the application for you, a daily dosage of 1 ounce per 400 square feet is recommended for best results
HS560 & HS115: Case of 4 - 140 oz bottles of Heatsavr and the recommended Automatic Metering System
- This is the most popular option for Commercial Suppliers, as the volume will last longer for larger pools.
- It is also a frequent addition to new pool packages or as a complementary item paired with Solar installations or Heat Pump installations.
Heatsavr Pro: The NSF Approved version of HS560
- Heatsavr Pro launched in April of 2012
- The only difference between the "Pro" version and our traditional Heatsavr product is the application instructions. For further details, please read: Heatsavr Pro NSF Approval Announcment
- This product is ideal for Commercial Suppliers who have run into Health Officials who consider it MANDATORY for all products used at a commercial facility to have NSF Approval
- IMPORTANT NOTE: While NSF Approval sounds very important and exciting, the vast majority of customers do NOT need this mark of honor, and if it is not necessary, we strongly recommend using our traditional Heatsavr product, as the dosing instructions are much easier for the average user.
