- Problems with birds cleaning their nests and dropping the waste in your pool? Line up a flock of derby ducks around the edge and the birds seem to find another place to drop their waste.
- Put a pull tie on your skimmer basket for easy removal from the skimmer
- HeatSavr allows you to get lazy in the summer with your solar blankets, use both to get the most out of your heater in the cold evenings spring and fall. EcoSavr works well in your fountain too!

- Be sure to check each piece of pool equipment thoroughly when opening your pool. Many pool owners will do just enough to get the pool up and running and then a week later the pool will be green.
- Check for air and water leaks, which can often occur in old plumbing, loose silicone, or loose fittings.
- If your pool uses a salt chlorinator, make sure the pool is set to the right temperature and has the right amount of salt to produce chlorine. Otherwise, you may end up with a cloudy, green pool.
