Yoga Hot Tub = Forward Thinking Aquatics Facility
by Monique Nelson on December 12th, 2012

Whether you operate an aquatics facility at a community center, a fitness club, a YMCA or JCC, a hotel, or most any other type of commercial pool, there is a good chance you have a hot tub as well. Spas are very popular for relaxing in, and I'm sure your clientele makes good use of yours!

You have probably also heard of the health and fitness movement of Yoga. Over the past few years it has been growing in popularity at an amazing rate.

Have you ever considered combining the two to promote a new service at your facility?

Hot Tub Yoga.

An instructor could teach a class or two, or you could encourage personal trainers to book ahead and utilize your facility. Perhaps you could add an appointment based service. However you decide to capitalize on this trend, it should certainly be something you consider.

Matt Giovanisci from SwimUniversity.com created an infographic showing some poses which I think you will find very intriguing. Here is a small snapshot, but please click on the image to be re-directed to view the entire graphic.
